Denim – a blank canvas for this spring

The days are longer, there’s more light … personally, I’m full of energy and feel better, which spurs me to seek out changes. I need to be reborn with the spring, and it doesn’t matter if the weather is still erratic, with some days of cold and rain yet to come … this is no excuse to get distracted. One has to shake off that lethargy.

But, where do you start? …

I want the same thing you do: to be revitalized with enthusiasm and energy, and without that requiring an effort every morning. So, this spring we’ve lined up a selection of the most important SS16 denim garments in our collections, going beyond just having jeans in your wardrobe.

Featuring Current/Elliott, Alexander Wang and Helmut Lang items: high-waist and also cropped flared jeans (a mouthful, but one that will be much uttered anyway, thanks to their fresh, feminine and subtly retro cut), denim mini and midi skirts, denim trench

Blank canvases on which one can project any kind of inspiration. With all its different versions, colors, silhouettes, fabrics and finishes … it is a matchless asset in our closets. With them it’s easy and inspiring to make that shift we need to recharge our batteries, feel renewed, and to use those other items that we like, and that we sometimes have neglected in our wardrobes. The possibilities are endless.

Denim: a monopoly for more than 40 years, without any signs of old age, weakness or wearing thing. Just the opposite: each season it is reborn, used in new garments, and proudly displayed in new finishes, or features new dyes. Nothing can beat it.

I suggest you get started on making the change … its effects are immediate
