Everybody knows the saying: «an image is worth a thousand words.» This week I invite you to check out the first part of Arropame’s new looks. I know that many of you take great interest in this section; you’re inspired by it and discover the different possibilities our collections have to offer, along with the season’s new items.
This is why one of my goals for fall of 2015 was to get the looks ready as soon as possible, a job I enjoy, seeing all the potential of the articles that I so meticulously selected months back, as I already told you in last week’s post on the oversized blazer that I‘ve fallen in love with.
Well, then… it’s Saturday afternoon, the doors are closed… a Canon in Alazne’s hands, inspiring music by Riley Walker and his album Primrose Green, a lilac scent by Diptyque, and she is shooting Elisa. Sonia and yours truly, on the production. That’s just the way it was, I’m telling you, and the way we photographed it
The Irie dresses: their silhouettes and different lengths. You choose the style you want to give them.
The gamine look with the oversized blazer. A simple but very romantic style, like the original gamine: Audrey Hepburn.
The knit sweater the way grandmother wore it: I’m cold, one on top of the other.
The neoprene minidress, with sneakers and socks. The first to put neoprene on catwalks was Balenciaga, in 2008, and many international firms have been doing so ever since. At Arropame we present you with Lebor Gabala’s take on this trend.
A high neck + leather pants by Brocken Bow = an easy go-to look.
Velvet pyjama pants + neoprene dress + cashmere sweater around the neck = a look rich in textures, the true stars of the season.
The round silhouette with Lebor Gabala’s perfect oversized…. And more and more and more…
